            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Cardinal O'Hara, Nazareth Academy was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic Friars/Pandas  a   7-0 shutout.

Not much got past  Jill DiMario, who gave up just  three  hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic off the board. With that strong performance,  DiMario is now averaging an impressive 5.4  strikeouts per game.
 On the hitting side,  Keiragh Krzywicki and  Juliana Terzella did most of the damage at the plate:  Krzywicki  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3, while  Terzella  scored a  run while going 2-for-3. Those  runs were  Krzywicki's first of the season.  Casey Derouin was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
Nazareth Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nazareth Academy will square off against Germantown Academy at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic, they will take on Archbishop Wood at 3:45  p.m.  on Thursday.
