Football Game Preview: McLaughlin vs. Pine Ridge

On Friday Pine Ridge take on McLaughlin at 6:00 PM. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Everything went Pine Ridge's way against Bennett County last week as they made off with a 38-8 win. The success represented a nice turnaround for Pine Ridge, who in their last game suffered a tough 14-45 defeat.

Meanwhile, McLaughlin made easy work of St. Francis Indian and carried off a 30-0 victory. McLaughlin were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Their wins bumped McLaughlin to 3-0 and Pine Ridge to 1-2. With both McLaughlin and Pine Ridge swaggering in after impressive performances, it will be interesting to see which team steps up to teach the other some humility.
