Basketball Recap: North Pitt Panthers vs. West Craven Eagles
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Pitt). They breezed by the West Craven Eagles to the tune of 78-44 on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
North Pitt's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Elisha Barrett led the charge by as he made all 5 shots he took to post 14 points and five assists. J'Khye Dixon was another key player, going 5 of 7 on his way to 13 points and three steals.
