Basketball Recap: Standing Rock Takes a Loss

Standing Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the McLaughlin Mustangs, falling 62-26. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 63-40 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

Standing Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for McLaughlin, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Standing Rock will challenge Richardton-Taylor at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for McLaughlin, they will take on Little Wound in a tournament on December 18th.
