Basketball Recap: St. Francis Takes a Loss

If St. Francis was feeling good fresh off their 53-33 takedown of Providence Catholic last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The St. Francis Spartans lost 57-37 to the Brother Rice Crusaders on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now lost three in a row.

St. Francis' loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Brother Rice, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-3.

St. Francis has already played their next match (against Marmion), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Brother Rice will be playing in front of their home fans against Fenwick at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fenwick has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
