Strawberry Crest barely beat Sumner the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Strawberry Crest Chargers were the clear victor by a 17-7 margin over the Sumner Stingrays on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won six matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Reuben Vasquez, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. Matt Hall was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-3.

Strawberry Crest always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .688. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Strawberry Crest has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. Sumner has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.
