Basketball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 53-36 bruising from the Keystone Oaks Golden Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Prexies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 549th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 187th).

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Keystone Oaks, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.

Washington will head out to square off against Sto-Rox at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Keystone Oaks, they will face off against McGuffey at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in McGuffey's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matches.
