Volleyball Recap: Aliso Niguel Comes Up Short

Aliso Niguel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Santa Margarita Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Wednesday.

Aliso Niguel's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Santa Margarita, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Coincidentally, Aliso Niguel and Santa Margarita will both be playing Crean Lutheran the next time they take the court. Santa Margarita will head out to face Crean Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Aliso Niguel will head out to face them at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
