Basketball Recap: British International School of Chicago Comes Up Short

British International School of Chicago lost against Wolcott College Prep back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The contest between British International School of Chicago and the Wolcott College Prep Wolves didn't end well, with British International School of Chicago falling 63-49. British International School of Chicago's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Leading Wolcott College Prep to victory were Habtamu Olson and Amir Haleem. Olson dropped a triple-double on 24 points, ten rebounds, and 11 steals, while Haleem dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten boards. Olson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Summers, who posted five points and three steals.

British International School of Chicago's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Wolcott College Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

British International School of Chicago is taking a road trip to challenge Roycemore at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. British International School of Chicago is facing Roycemore at the right time seeing as Roycemore is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Wolcott College Prep, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park at 6:00 p.m. on February 10th.
