Basketball Recap: 12 Straight Home Wins for Thomson

There's no place like home for Thomson, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They took down the Butler Bulldogs 51-35 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 46-42 two weeks ago.

Butler's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brayla Harris, who posted 11 points and six rebounds. Rania Curry was another key player, putting up 12 points and seven boards.

Thomson's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points over those games. As for Butler, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-5.
