Softball Game Preview: Las Lomas Knights vs. Northgate Broncos

Las Lomas hasn't had much luck against Northgate recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Broncos at 4:30 p.m. Northgate took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Las Lomas, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Las Lomas made easy work of Concord and carried off a 10-4 victory. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, Northgate came up short against College Park on Thursday, falling 9-3. The Broncos have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Northgate saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taelyn Jriyasetapong, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Las Lomas' victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Northgate, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
