Soccer Recap: Fisher's Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

Fisher came into Wednesday's contest having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They never let the International Panthers onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Wednesday. For the Gators, this counts as revenge for the 6-1 win the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Fisher's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-11. As for International, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fisher will head out to face off against Riverside Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Riverside Academy is on a four-game streak of home losses, Fisher a six-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change. As for International, they will venture away from home to take on Northshore at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
