Grace Christian has won three straight games at home, while Anacoco has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Warriors will host the Indians at 5:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Grace Christian's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Monterey with a sharp 10-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won five in a row.
Rory Decker and Sydney Avery did most of the damage at the plate: Decker scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2, while Avery went 2-for-4 with two triples, two RBI, and one run. That's the most triples Avery has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Smith, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Grace Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .321 or higher in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Anacoco made easy work of Elizabeth on Thursday and carried off a 15-5 victory.
Anacoco let Brooklyn Bryant and Raylee Mitchell run wild. Bryant went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs, while Mitchell fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-4. Those home runs were Mitchell's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ava Davis, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Friday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Grace Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .330. However, it's not like Anacoco struggles in that department as they've averaged .344. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
