Baseball Game Preview: Lancaster Eagles vs. Serrano Diamondbacks

The Lancaster Eagles will take on the Serrano Diamondbacks at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Lancaster will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.

Lancaster not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since May 2, 2025 (when they won 16-1). Everything went their way against Barstow as they made off with a 15-5 win. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Serrano couldn't beat Western Christian on Friday even though they stacked five runs on them in the second inning. The Diamondbacks took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fighting Lancers.

Bryce Thurber made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Steven Amaya was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Lancaster's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Serrano, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
