Eastern Alamance has gone a perfect 10-0 against Williams recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Alamance is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Eastern Alamance took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Western Alamance 6-4.

Delani Straughan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on nine hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kayden Manning, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Kinley Henderson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Williams was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They lost 18-1 to Southern Alamance.

Eastern Alamance is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Williams, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Eastern Alamance took their win against Williams in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 16-0 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
