Football Recap: Crestview Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After soaring to 33 points the game before, Crestview was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They took a 21-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 290th, while the Thunderbirds are ranked 112th).

Loss or not, Crestview got some senior leadership from Hayden Perrott and Braxton Leeth. Perrott gained 106 total yards and two touchdowns, while Leeth rushed for 154 yards. Leeth was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 52 yards.

Crestview's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4. As for Lima Central Catholic, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

As of now, neither Crestview nor the Thunderbirds have any future games scheduled.
