Recap: Bandera BULLDOGS vs. Hondo Owls
The Bandera BULLDOGS scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Hondo 94-38 at home. The victory was nothing new for Bandera as they're now sitting on five straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bandera to victory, but perhaps none more so than Isaac Segura, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. Segura continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Cale Barnett, who scored 21 points.
Bandera has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Hondo, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bandera will take on Wimberley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wimberley has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 318 points over their last five matches. As for Hondo, they will head out on the road to face off against Brackett at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brackett presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hondo in Texas (Brackett is ranked 750th, while Hondo is ranked 1519th).
