Softball Recap: Ponte Vedra Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ridgeview on Tuesday, Ponte Vedra came back down to earth. The Sharks came up short against the West Nassau Warriors on Thursday, falling 9-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Sharks haven't been shut out since back in March.

Ponte Vedra's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for West Nassau, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

Ponte Vedra didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 19-4 victory against St. Augustine on the 14th. As for West Nassau, they have also already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Baker County on the 15th.
