Basketball Recap: Tyler Bryant's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Forbush over West Wilkes

Forbush was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 68-49 bruising from the West Wilkes Blackhawks. The Falcons were not able to make up for their loss to the Blackhawks from their previous meeting back in January.

Forbush's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyler Bryant, who went 5 of 10 en route to 12 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan McClamrock, who posted 11 points and six rebounds.

Even though they lost, Forbush was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Forbush's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for West Wilkes, their record now sits at 3-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forbush will take on Mount Airy in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Wilkes and Alleghany will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
