Softball Recap: Saint Ignatius College Prep Comes Up Short

Saint Ignatius College Prep lost against Montini Catholic back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wolfpack fell 6-3 to the Broncos. The Wolfpack just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Molly Milanowski was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Samantha Steinhofer was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Saint Ignatius College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Montini Catholic, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 14-14 record.

Looking ahead, Saint Ignatius College Prep will face off against Northside at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Montini Catholic, they will square off against Fenwick at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Broncos are facing the Friars at the right time seeing as the Friars are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
