Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Winters Mill). They walked away with a 67-60 victory over the Havre de Grace Warriors on Friday.

Leading Winters Mill to victory were Chase Siegel and Tommy Hinkhaus. Siegel dropped a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds, while Hinkhaus went 6 of 15 en route to 17 points and eight boards. That's the most points Hinkhaus has posted since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Ben King, who scored four points in addition to five assists and five boards.

Winters Mill smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Winters Mill's win bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Havre de Grace, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Winters Mill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 76-65 loss against Pikesville on the 10th. As for Havre de Grace, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 56-53 defeat against C. Milton Wright on the 10th.
