Volleyball Recap: Chico Comes Up Short

Chico was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Iowa Park Hawks.

Despite the loss, Chico still got an impressive performance from Savanna Sitek, who had 21 digs and one assist. Camdyn Marcus also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Chico's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Iowa Park, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.

Chico wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Aubrey on the 29th. As for Iowa Park, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Lindsay on the 29th.
