Basketball Recap: Munday Piles Up the Points Against Chillicothe

Munday entered their tilt with Chillicothe on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Chillicothe Eagles 73-18. With the Moguls ahead 36-6 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Munday was led to victory by Mance Phillips and Jariyis Williams. Phillips went 8 of 9 en route to 18 points and five rebounds, while Williams went 7 for 11 on his way to 14 points in addition to five assists and five boards. That's the most points Phillips has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Haiden Bowman, who posted four points along with six assists and five rebounds.

Munday smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in five consecutive matches.

Munday is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points per game. As for Chillicothe, their defeat was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.
