Licking Heights added to the longest winning streak in Licking County - Big this week by beating Northridge, 40-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Hornets.

Licking Valley scaled the state rankings by moving to 151 from 183 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Panthers were able to move up by defeating Johnstown-Monroe 26-21.

Watkins Memorial's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ben Shroyer has thrown for 334 yards and 5 touchdowns this season, while Hunter Holton has 18 catches for 193 yards.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Lakewood takes on Licking Heights. The Lancers are currently in fifth, while the Hornets are in first.

Licking Valley made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,272 from 2,801. The improvement was largely due to a 26-21 victory over the Johnnies last week.
