Football Recap: Aiden Johnson Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Heritage

The Pacific Pirates beat the Heritage Patriots 28-18 on Friday.

Pacific got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aiden Johnson out in front who picked up 98 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Pacific didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Tyre Ty Scott, Douglas Perez, and Trevor Pettigrew picked up one apiece.

Despite the loss, Heritage still got an impressive performance from Matthew Flores, who rushed for 81 yards and a pair of TDs on only 11 carries.

Pacific's record now sits at 4-0. As for Heritage, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Pacific wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 14-7 win against San Bernardino on the 26th. As for Heritage, they have also already played their next contest, a 40-31 victory against Canyon Springs on the 2nd.
