Baseball Recap: Sanborn Regional Takes a Loss

Sanborn Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 10-1 to the Merrimack Valley Pride. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 7-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Sanborn Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Merrimack Valley, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sanborn Regional will take on rival Oyster River at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Merrimack Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe Hanover at 4:30 p.m. on the 7th.
