Colonel Richardson came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Kent Island Buccaneers by a score of 67-55. This was a revenge game for the Colonels: when they faced off against the Buccaneers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 55-40 loss.

Colonel Richardson is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Kent Island, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Kent County the next time they take the court. Colonel Richardson will host Kent County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Kent Island will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on February 6th.
