Flag Football Recap: Hoover Triumphs

Hoover's game on September 9th was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Mountain Brook Spartans as they made off with a 36-14 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Buccaneers' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Hoover's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Mountain Brook, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Hoover will host Vestavia Hills at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rebels will roll in looking for their 18th straight win, something the Buccaneers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mountain Brook, they have already played their next matchup, a 19-12 victory against Ramsay on the 30th.
