Crescent City's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 26-19 margin over the Hawthorne Hornets. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won three matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Macy Stuckey was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in four of her seven plate appearances. Another player making a difference was April Morales, who scored two runs and stole Five bases. while getting on base in four of her six plate appearances.

Crescent City's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Hawthorne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Looking ahead, Crescent City will take on Father Lopez at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hawthorne, they will head out on the road to square off against Bradford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bradford has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.5 runs per game on average), something Hawthorne will no doubt try to take advantage of.
