Soccer Recap: Port Arthur Memorial Comes Up Short

Port Arthur Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Nederland Bulldogs, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 back in February.

Port Arthur Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15-1. As for Nederland, their victory bumped their record up to 14-10.

Coming up, Port Arthur Memorial is taking a road trip to square off against West Brook at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Port Arthur Memorial has given up an average of 6.8 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Nederland, they will host Barbers Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Barbers Hill will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Nederland surely won't give up without a fight.
