Softball Recap: Five Straight Home Victories for Siegel

Siegel posted their closest win since April 30, 2024 on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Deshler Tigers 5-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Stars.

Addison Parrott was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Parrott was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high.

Siegel pushed their record up to 5-4-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Deshler, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7.

Coming up, Siegel will face off against Rockvale at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Siegel 4, Rockvale 2) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Deshler, they will challenge Morton at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
