Burkburnett has gone a perfect 5-0 against Springtown recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Burkburnett Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the Springtown Porcupines at 7:30 p.m. Burkburnett knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 contests -- so hopefully Springtown likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Burkburnett beat Eagle Mountain 69-60. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while the Knights are ranked 459th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Springtown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt an 80-41 loss at the hands of Krum. The Porcupines were down 62-28 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Burkburnett has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.5 points. As for Springtown, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-22.

Everything came up roses for Burkburnett against Springtown in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 105-59 victory. In that game, Burkburnett amassed a halftime lead of 53-29, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
