Maple Mountain has gone a perfect 6-0 against Spanish Fork recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Dons at 6:30 p.m. Maple Mountain will be strutting in after a victory while Spanish Fork will be coming in after a defeat.
Maple Mountain is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Salem Hills, who was ranked 21st at the time (Maple Mountain was ranked fifth). The Eagles put the hurt on the Skyhawks with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Skyhawks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 25-22.

Maple Mountain relied on the efforts of McKay Beattie, who had nine digs and two aces, and Kimball Olsen, who had six kills, five digs, and one block. Olsen is on a roll when it comes to kills, as he's now had six or more in each of the last six games he's played.
Meanwhile, Spanish Fork came up short against Wasatch on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Dons haven't had much luck with the Wasps recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
The final score came out to 25-15, 25-21, 25-19.
Maple Mountain's win bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Spanish Fork, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.
Maple Mountain skirted past Spanish Fork 3-2 in their previous meeting back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
