Soccer Recap: Lunenburg Central Comes Up Short

Lunenburg Central lost against Randolph-Henry back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Chargers fell just short of the Statesmen by a score of 2-1. Lunenburg Central have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Irvy Ramirez Tomas, who's now up to three this season.

Lunenburg Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for Randolph-Henry, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 11-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lunenburg Central is set to face off against their familiar foe Nottoway at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Randolph-Henry will square off against rival Prince Edward County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
