The biggest upset of the week belonged to Willis, who took down 746th ranked Willis, 20-6.

Brenham extended the longest winning streak in 4A Region III District 18 this week by beating Huntsville, 31-21. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.

Tre Guyton was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 128 yards on 29 carries as Rudder fell to Montgomery.

Lofton Bean put up the best numbers through the air as the Wildkats fell to Magnolia. He finished with 18 completions for 198 yards. Bean's favorite target this week was Dillon Bauer, who caught seven passes for 58 yards.

Johnson was the best wideout in the league this week as the Rangers lost to the Bears. Johnson racked up five receptions for 69 yards.

Willis' Bean and Bauer have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading 4A Region III District 18 in both passing and receiving yards. Bean has thrown for 1376 yards this season, while Bauer, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 32 catches for 466 yards. Rudder's Guyton leads the league in rushing yards with 1568.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Magnolia West takes on Waller. Magnolia West is currently in fourth, while the Bulldogs are in fifth.

The Bulldogs moved up to 802 from 876 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Magnolia was able to make move up by topping Audie Jackson's team 20-6.
