Baseball Game Preview: Triton Mustangs vs. Delran Bears

The Triton Mustangs will take on the Delran Bears at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Thursday, Triton came up short against Overbrook and fell 5-2. The loss put an end to the Mustangs' undefeated start to the season.

Triton got a good showing from Matteo Sollena, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Jake Mannion was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, after only one run in their last game, Delran made sure to put some runs up on the board against Florence Township Memorial on Saturday. The Bears blew past the Flashes 11-5. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Flashes: they've now won six in a row.

The win got Delran back to even at 2-2. As for Triton, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
