Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hillcrest). They were the clear victors by a 22-8 margin over the Monroe County Tigers on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-13 on Friday.

The victory made it two in a row for Hillcrest and bumps their season record up to 3-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.0 runs over those games. As for Monroe County, they dropped their record down to 0-13-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Hillcrest will square off against Providence Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Monroe County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
