Basketball Game Preview: Columbia Roughnecks vs. Bay City Blackcats

The Columbia Roughnecks will head out to take on the Bay City Blackcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Columbia has three straight victories, Bay City has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Tuesday, Columbia earned a 72-64 win over El Campo.

Meanwhile, Bay City played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 67-47 to Needville.

Bay City's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Columbia, their victory bumped their record up to 10-22.

Columbia and Bay City were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in January, but Columbia came up empty-handed after a 57-56 loss. Can Columbia avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
