Northside came tearing into Wednesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34 points) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the William Byrd Terriers with a sharp 80-56 victory. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Northside's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1. As for William Byrd, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-8.

Northside will welcome Lord Botetourt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northside knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Lord Botetourt likes a good challenge. As for William Byrd, they will venture away from home to square off against Staunton River at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. William Byrd has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 180 points over their last three games.
