Soccer Game Preview: Jefferson vs. Jackson County

The Jefferson Dragons will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Jackson County Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Jefferson is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They fell just short of Mill Creek by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

As for Jackson County, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished on the wrong side of .500 (7-11), but they'll be hoping to turn things around this year.

Jefferson was able to grind out a solid win over Jackson County in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 3-1. Will Jefferson repeat their success, or does Jackson County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
