Northfield had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Vista PEAK Prep Bison. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-2 back in March.

Northfield got a great performance from Adler Hickey as he pitched 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Hickey has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Northfield saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peter Worth, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Northfield's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Vista PEAK Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northfield will face off against Rangeview at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Vista PEAK Prep, they will take on Brighton at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
