Skyview has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.27 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They came up short against the Bishop Kelly Knights, falling 10-4. The Hawks' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Mason Krahn made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Tyler Russell also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Skyview's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-3-1. As for Bishop Kelly, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-7.
