There's no place like home for Springwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the North River Christian Chargers, posting a 60-14 victory. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Springwood got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tucker Sides out in front who rushed for 108 yards and two TDs. Sides also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing one fumble and making 13 total tackles (1.0 for loss). Adam Baltes was in the mix as well, providing Springwood with two scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Springwood was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 227 rushing yards. They are 3-1 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Springwood didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Lucas Alabani and Baltes. Springwood received some extra help from Russell Lauderdale, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Springwood's record is now 3-4. As for North River Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
