Basketball Game Preview: Pine Forest Trojans vs. Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs

The Pine Forest Trojans will venture away from home to face off against the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pine Forest is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Last Monday, Pine Forest lost to Westover on the road by a 51-37 margin.

Meanwhile, Southeast Raleigh has relied on a stalwart defense averaging 29.67 points allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They took a 57-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Garner.

Pine Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Southeast Raleigh, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 16-1 and their overall record down to 25-2.

Pine Forest came up short against Southeast Raleigh in their previous meeting back in February of 2022, falling 64-51. Can Pine Forest avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
