Recap: Poly Engineers vs. Carver Vo-Tech Bears

The Poly Engineers put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Carver Vo-Tech at home to the tune of 84-11. Poly has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Among those leading the charge was A. Austin, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of London Elliot, who scored 11 points along with two steals.

Poly's win was their 15th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.2 points per game. As for Carver Vo-Tech, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Poly will take on McDonogh at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Carver Vo-Tech, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mergenthaler Vo-Tech at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
