Lake Forest had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 13-16 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Indian Trail Hawks 10-3. The Scouts' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.
Lake Forest let Jack Lamberti and Ryan Valentincic run wild. Lamberti went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double, while Valentincic went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.
