Softball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Coopersville's Sixth in Last Eight Outings

The Coopersville Broncos made easy work of the Norrix Knights on Saturday and carried off a 16-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Broncos, who have now won ten matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Coopersville is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Norrix, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-12-2.

Looking ahead, Coopersville will square off against Kenowa Hills at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Norrix, they will challenge Gull Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
