Mounds View can bid farewell to their three-match losing streak thanks to their match on Saturday. They came out on top against the Hopkins Royals by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Mounds View's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Hopkins, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's still a better percentage than their 4-14 record this season.

Mounds View didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against St. Paul Central on the 4th. Hopkins has also already played their next match (against Central Minnesota Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
