Volleyball Recap: Edgerton Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Edgerton entered their tilt with North Central on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win didn't come easy: North Central scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20, 27-25.

Alivia Farnham paced Edgerton's offense, picking up 25 kills. Farnham got some help from Ava Swank and her 27 assists. Farnham also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Aubrey Patrick, racking up two apiece.

Edgerton's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for North Central, they dropped their record down to 2-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edgerton will head out to challenge Edon at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for North Central, they will venture away from home to take on Gorham Fayette at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
