Basketball Game Preview: Brookfield Warriors vs. LaBrae Vikings

The Brookfield Warriors are taking a road trip to face off against the LaBrae Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.

On Saturday, Brookfield took a blow against Pymatuning Valley, falling 69-18. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, LaBrae hadn't done well against Champion recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. LaBrae simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Champion 56-21. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

LaBrae is also on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.8 points per game. As for Brookfield, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.

Brookfield was dealt a bruising 56-28 defeat at the hands of LaBrae in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can Brookfield avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
